What a blessing! Yesterday, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. Mary Court #95, was honored to host the Relics of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina. It was inspiring to see so many people come together in faith throughout the day.

A heartfelt thank you to Lori Schrieber and all of the Catholic Daughter volunteers whose hard work made this event such a success.

Pictured is Joseph Santoro, Director of Mission Outreach and Programming at the National Centre for Padre Pio, who shared an inspiring presentation following the closing Mass. You can still watch his talk on the St. Mary's Catholic Church Facebook livestream.

Thank you to everyone who attended and especially to the officers and members of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. Mary Court #95, for making this memorable day possible.

St. Marys Catholic Daughters of the Americas provide Scholarship to Elk County Catholic High School Incoming Freshman
Recently leadership from the local St. Marys Court of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CD of A) met with their 2026 scholarship recipients. One boy and one girl from St. Marys Catholic Middle School (SMCMS) are chosen annually to receive a scholarship for their freshman year at Elk County Catholic High School (ECCHS). This year students will receive $500 each towards their tuition for the 2026-2027 school year.
Leo Simbeck and Bethany Cunningham are the recipients. The awardee’s of the scholarship are chosen by the faculty of the SMCMS. Student are selected based on how they demonstrate living out their Catholic faith and by helping others through charitable acts.
The CD of A is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. They donate to charities, missions, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.”

Recently, the members of Court 95 had a Baby Shower to support the Maternity Closet in St. Marys. In addition to all the items here a number of members gave monetary donations as well.
