Well the preparations for VBS have begun. So appreciate those who are donating items toward snacks and merit store. God is good!

Pray that the county will finish their new drainage system very soon. We appreciate local business owners allowing Pastor to cross through their grass to access the church. Thankful for those willing to help us canvas the area with VBS announcements for service tonight!!

We will miss our dear Sandy.

Sandra “Sandy” Robinson, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Born on April 19, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Sandy lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, and unwavering love.
Sandy’s life was marked by dedication to the Lord and a heart centered on her family and faith. Her one and only true love was her husband, Marvin Robinson, whose passing in December deeply affected her. After a short illness, she was lovingly reunited with Jesus and Marvin, bringing an end to her earthly journey.
Throughout her years, Sandy found joy in many simple yet meaningful pleasures. She loved watching Gather Christian videos, coloring pictures, playing games on her iPad, listening to music, and visiting with friends. Most of all, she treasured family gatherings—the spirited game nights where her competitive spirit shone bright, often playing until she won, and the warm family dinners that filled her home with love and laughter. Sundays were especially dear to her, spent at church where she embraced the joy of singing.
Sandy took immense pride in caring for her family, a testament to the love and strength she carried within. She was devoted to her daughter, Bobbie Robinson, and embraced numerous adopted children whom she loved dearly, as well as her many beloved fur babies, who provided comfort and companionship.
Her surviving family includes her daughter, Bobbie Robinson; her sister, Jane Humphrey; brothers and sisters-in-law: Howard and Sharon Robinson, and Geneva and Mack Maclawhorn; as well as many nieces and nephews who will carry treasured memories of their aunt. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Marvin Robinson; her parents, Fred and Barbara Humphrey; and her brother, Fred Humphrey.
Sandra “Sandy” Robinson’s legacy is one of faith, family, and love, a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew her. Her gentle spirit and heartfelt devotion remain forever in the memories of her loved ones. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Family and friends are invited to a service celebrating the life of Sandy Robinson on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Church, 620 S. Main Street, St. Louis, Michigan, to honor her memory and share cherished moments.
Online condolences may be made at www.smithfamilyfuneralhomes.com. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Michigan.
