Afternoon families. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New years.
Tomorrow there will be scouts. If snow happens or school lets out or early due to weather please watch the page as we will post cancelations, just because school cancels or lets out doesn't mean scouts is canceled. But always use your judgment on if you feel it's safe to come out.
Cold and flu season is here as well. Please remember if sick at all do not come to scouts. Stay home and get better and don't spread your sickness to others.

Welcome back to Pack 21, as we start out our year with our 1st meeting on Monday, September 14th from 6:30 p.m until 7:30 p.m at Wyatt Park Christian. Enter through the West parking lot door. The meetings will look a little different due to COVID-19.
We will work towards creating a safe environment for everyone.

***Please do not go into the big room with all the tables and sit down. Go directly to your designated room for your class, no running around or going to other rooms.

**I know scouts will be excited to see everyone and will want to play around together before the meeting starts but for safety reasons, that cannot and will not happen.

***We will be practicing social distancing. Social distancing is necessary to create a safe environment per CDC guidelines.

*** Masks are not a requirement, however, if you and your family feel more comfortable wearing one please go ahead and do so. Please know this can change at anytime.

***This next one will be difficult but we ask only parent(s)/guardian of the cub to be there. No siblings or extra people. If you must bring your other children, please stay in your vehicle until the meeting is over.

***If anyone in your home has not felt well, has a fever, in the last 72 hrs before scouts, DO NOT come. Stay home! If you have been around a positive case of COVID-19, stay in quarantine for your full 14 days as well.

***Please reach out if you will not be there that evening to see what your cub missed and work on at home. It also lets your leader know so they aren't waiting to see if you show up.

If you know anyone who wants to join scouts, have them come to the meeting on the 14th and we can get them registered. Remember, however, we DO NOT take kindergarten or girls. The scout office can let you know who to go to for that.

We are always looking and needing volunteers. What can you do to help?

Hello parents, hope this stay at home order we have had hasn't made you go too crazy!
We will not be continuing scouts until the fall. With the city just now opening but numbers rising we feel it is not in the best interest of the health for families. We understand that boys would like to come back and see everyone. So let's have a photo party.
We would love to see any photos of boys doing things that represent the Scout Oath and Law.
Parents of scouts that want to go to camp please reach out to Mark. Any questions please do not hesitate to ask and stay healthy!

Hello everyone from Pack 21.

With this coronavirus going around our community and world, I hope everyone is trying to stay isolated or a reasonable distance from others people.
In our scouting group since we cannot meet, I am relying on scouts and parents to work on requirements in their books, for we as a group can stay ahead of the game. When we can meet back up we just go over things and move on.
I am keeping an eye on summer camp and hoping it will happen. Until things get back to normal not really sure what will happen with camps. The Scout Office is taking registration, but like all other things being put on hold at 2 week intervals. I am waiting until next month to see how things are. If parents are hoping your scout would be able to go to camp this year, please get ahold of me and I will put you on the list.
I will let you know what is going on by May 1st. Hope everyone is doing well. Be safe. And we will talk soon.
