Dress how you are comfortable. Our focus is not on who wears what – but whether or not people are connecting with God and each other. Directions to Ebenezer UMC. We are located at 7000 S.E. 169 Hwy, St. Joseph, MO. Just a short drive in the country, three mile east of I29 on South 169 Hwy. Parking places are reserved for first time guests in the parking lot on the east side of the church, by the entrance ramp. You will be greeted at the door with a friendly hug and handed the church bulletin. Just enter and sit wherever you feel comfortable. Be assured that during the service you will not be singled out in any way as a visitor. We want you to relax and enjoy the service without the fear of embarrassment. Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years that you should be encouraged and inspired by the morning. We hope that everyone will draw closer to God. Service is at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. We have a blended worship style, which means you will hear traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music. We are a pretty casual bunch! Worship is fun and uplifting, as well as a place to experience God and to be challenged by what it means to live as a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. Our services are for all ages and stages. We offer children’s church for ages 6 and under. Ebenezer UMC celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2016, which is quite an accomplishment. This church has been a vital part of the surrounding community for a very long time!
