TONIGHT: SEEKING SOCIAL JUSTICE AT JOY ☀️

The JOY Worshiping Community and Ecumenical Eco-Justice invite you to join us tonight as Brandon Johnson, MSW and Assistant Professor of Social Work at MoWest AND chair of the Human Rights Commission leads our gathering tonight on cultural empathy!!! Monday, June 1 at 7 PM!!

Speaking in social work terms….Brandon is planning to discuss cultural humility as a practice and provide a historical context for how community has empowered humanities existence. He will be singing a couple songs under his ‘other’ name as a professional musician!!! Will be a great evening!

Join us this Sunday as we close out the month of May with another message in our “God is…” worship series. This week we ponder what it means to declare “God is Jesus.” In-person worship begins in our sanctuary at 10:45 AM.
