CHOOSE TO REJOICE!

What a powerful word we received today! 🙌
📖 Psalm 118:21-24

Sometimes we forget just how important it is to choose to rejoice. Rejoicing isn’t always about how we feel or what circumstances look like, it’s a decision we make!

David made the choice to rejoice.
Even when life wasn’t going the way he wanted, he chose to praise God. Why? Because he knew God was still good! We can allow fear, worry, disappointment, and negativity to take over or we can choose to fill our hearts with praise, gratitude, and joy!

That’s the challenge for us today:
No matter what your current circumstance looks like… CHOOSE TO REJOICE!
Choose praise when you don’t understand.
Choose joy when things are difficult.
Choose worship when you don’t feel like it.
Choose to remember that this is the day the Lord has made!

🙌 “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

Your circumstances don’t get to decide your praise. You get to choose! ❤️‍🔥

SUNDAY RECAP | 7/16/2026

What a powerful time we had in the house of the Lord yesterday!

We spent time in prayer and were reminded through Psalm 27 of just how much we need the presence of God in our lives.

There is nothing in this life that will truly satisfy you like being in the house of the Lord. And being in the “house of the Lord” isn’t just about being inside a physical church building. It’s about dwelling in His presence, seeking His face, trusting Him, and making Him the center of our everyday lives.

When everything else leaves us empty, His presence satisfies. When life gets overwhelming, His presence gives us peace. When we don’t know where to turn, we can always seek the Lord.

“One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life.” — Psalm 27:4

Let’s carry what God did yesterday with us throughout this week. Keep seeking Him. Keep praying. Keep dwelling in His presence. 🔥

We had a little unexpected visitor at church today… a BIRD! Apparently, word got out that there’s something good happening at Abundant Faith Church, and even the birds wanted to come in and PRAISE THE LORD! 🙌

Sunday 8/2 recap!

What an incredible Sunday it was in the house of the Lord! 🙌

We opened God's Word in Psalm 2:1-12 and were reminded that when your going through something call upon the name of the Lord. Pastor Colton then asked a important question. Are you in God's will or are you actively plotting against His will? Something for us to ponder as we go through this week.

A highlight of the day was celebrating Baptism Sunday! We rejoiced as 4 people publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ, including 3 amazing kids taking this exciting step of obedience. There is nothing more beautiful than watching lives changed and families celebrating what God is doing!

Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we! 🎉
Thank you to everyone who worshiped with us today. We can't wait to see what God continues to do in the days ahead. If you weren't able to join us this week, we'd love to have you with us next Sunday!
