Thank you to everyone who made me feel so appreciated on Friday! Thank you for all the kinds words, the flowers from the students, the gifts cards and flowers from HASA and the staff. We are delighted to announce that Mrs. Ashley Matthias will join our school as the 5th-grade teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Many in our parish and school community already know Ashley from her years of volunteer service and as a substitute teacher. Catholic Schools Week Information!
Hopefully our students were able to enjoy their PJ Day at home today!. Just a reminder that today we celebrate our community. We encourage students to bring items for hygiene/encouragement bags to be distributed by local community organizations. Items that would be appreciated are: travel-size shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotions, deodorant along with medium-sized toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, brushes, or any other similar items. We will be collecting these through Friday, February 6th. Below is information about Tuesday's events:

Thankful Tuesday-Celebrating our Students

-Dress as a Famous Person/Character Day-Disney, Hero, Sports Player, Actor, etc.

-We celebrate our students with Falcon Faith Family Game Time (8:15-9:15)-PLEASE send games or puzzles for a range of ages to share in our Falcon Faith Families. Please be sure to label with your name any items that you send .

-Dime Time(formerly Penny Wars), starts on Tuesday-see the attached Catholic Schools Week document for details!

-Please be sure to send back your child's permission slip for the LeBlond city-wide Mass, (grades 1-8 will attend).

Great day to celebrate inclusion at St. Francis Xavier School!

Lights, camera, inclusion! We have been busy visiting our amazing partner schools this week, including St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and School, Our Lady of the Presentation School , St. Joseph Catholic Schools and many more. Together, we captured the joy, teamwork and impact of inclusive education. Stay tuned to see their stories come to life at 💙 FIRE Ball 💙 on November 1. We can't wait to see you there! 🔥

9:00 Mass

Following Mass, join us for brunch by Chaun’s Catering and entertainment by our 1st-6th graders!

Join us for a morning of faith, food, fellowship, and fun. We will begin our morning with Mass at 9:00 am, followed by an amazing brunch catered by Chaun’s Catering. Grades 1-6 will entertain us with American folk songs and patriotic favorites. Our 8th-grade students will be our hosts and hostesses, with our 7th graders making sure everyone is well taken care of. Please encourage grandparents, aunts, uncles, parishioners, friends, and neighbors to attend! This is a free event open to all seniors regardless of whether they have a child associated with St. Francis Xavier School. For reservations, please complete the Google Form by going to the link below. Reservations must be in NO LATER than Tuesday, Oct. 14th, to secure your spot at this wonderful and blessed St. Francis tradition. Please fill out a separate form for EACH person attending. You may also call the school office at 816-232-4911 to make a reservation. (Please DO NOT call the school office if you have already completed the form.)

So proud of our Falcon family today! Joe and William Trapp were appreciated on Janitors appreciation day...and the SJCA Eagles won a close contest on 8th grade night at LBHS cheered on by the SJCA football team who had the gym rocking!
