This is simply a space to slow down, connect, and enjoy community together. Whether you can stay for five minutes or the whole afternoon, we’d love to see you!

🎓ONE WEEK AGO, WE CELEBRATED A BIG MILESTONE! 🎓

Last week, we had the joy of celebrating our Preschool Class of 2026 as they took their next big step forward! 💚

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of these students. Over the past year, they have grown in confidence, friendships, creativity, kindness, and their understanding of God’s love. Watching them stand on stage, sing, smile, and celebrate this special moment was a reminder of just how much they have accomplished.

At First Church Preschool , our mission is about so much more than education. We partner with families to provide a Christ-centered environment where children can learn, grow, explore, and discover the unique purpose God has for their lives. Through caring teachers, engaging learning experiences, and a strong foundation of faith, we strive to help every child thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Yesterday at our St. Joseph Campus, during both services, we had the honor of celebrating and praying over our high school graduates. ❤️🎓

What a beautiful reminder that this generation matters deeply. We are so thankful for every student, every family, and every leader who pours into the lives of these young people year after year.

At First Church of God , we believe these years are too important to be built on empty things. Students need strong community, faithful friendships, wise leadership, and a Christ-centered foundation that helps shape who they become. That’s why we are so passionate about our Youth Ministry, from Middle School to High School, creating spaces where students can grow in faith, discover purpose, build lifelong friendships, and be reminded that God has an incredible plan for their lives.

A huge thank you to our High School Ministry leaders, Adam Rentas and Valerie Flint Gehrke, for faithfully leading, mentoring, encouraging, and loving this generation so well. Your impact reaches far beyond what is seen on a Sunday. 🙏🏽

Did you know that First Church of God has a campus in Benton Heights as well? 💚

The Benton Heights Campus has such a special heart and community, and it is incredible to see how many people faithfully serve there every single week. From worship and production to prayer, children’s ministry, hospitality, and Spanish services, so many hands come together to make this campus a place where people can encounter Jesus.

We are also so excited to officially welcome Pastor Romero beginning June 8th! We are prayerfully looking forward to his leadership, his ministry, and the beautiful season ahead for this campus and community. We truly believe God is doing something powerful in Benton Heights. 🙏🏽

Just over the last few days, we’ve celebrated worship, salvations, baptisms, community, and people lifting their hearts to Jesus together. Praise God for this welcoming church family.
