Today’s message speaks directly to a culture that wants belief without obedience and spirituality without surrender. Pastor Scott reminded us that biblical faith is not mere agreement — it is trust that moves our feet. Abraham believed God, and *therefore* he obeyed. Moses disobeyed because, in that moment, he did not believe God’s holiness. And we, as modern believers, must guard against drifting, dulling our conscience, or separating our spiritual life from our daily choices. This message calls our community to authentic faith — faith that listens, trusts, and obeys.

“Abiding means staying — not visiting. Fruit comes from consistency, not convenience.”

If this hit your heart, don’t stop there.

Today’s message spoke directly to the cultural moment we’re living in — a world obsessed with “being different,” “finding your own truth,” and rejecting anything that looks like conformity. Pastor Scott reminded us that Christianity isn’t about blind obedience or cultural sameness; it’s about aligning our lives with God’s truth, which leads to freedom, clarity, and unity. When we allow the Holy Spirit to shape us and the Word to guide us, we develop convictions that stand firm in a world full of shifting opinions. This message invites our community to rediscover the beauty of shared conviction and the power of Scripture to transform lives.

This morning Pastor Scott moved our Holiness & Delighting in God series from definition to application. We’ve spent weeks exploring what holiness *is* — today we explored what holiness *does*. Pastor Scott reminded us that the Christian life isn’t about conforming to the world or rebelling against it, but about being **transformed** by the renewing of our minds. We are declared righteous instantly, yet we grow in holiness over time through sanctification. And that growth shows up in everyday choices — choices that make the difference Jesus has made in us visible to the world around us. Today’s message gave us ten practical, Spirit‑empowered ways to walk out holiness in daily life.

Pastor Mike shared an encouraging message about the power of prayer and how God responds when we seek Him. He explained that prayer isn’t just a spiritual habit — it’s how we receive strength, direction, and the power of the Holy Spirit. If you’re looking for hope, clarity, or a fresh start, prayer is the place to begin.

Nonconformity is something some people treat like a badge of honor. People want to stand out, to be different, to express themselves, and often, end up being different for difference's sake. But when the bible speaks about conformity, God is saying something completely different. Are we called to express our individuality, or are we actually called to conform to something else?

Tonight Pastor Mike brought a strong, timely reminder about the power and necessity of prayer. Using Jesus’ words in Luke 18 — “men ought always to pray and not faint” — he challenged us to return to a lifestyle of prayer, both personally and as a church. He emphasized that revival has always been birthed through prayer, unity, and believers who refuse to quit. Pastor Mike walked us through Jesus’ prayer in Gethsemane, the authority God has given us on earth, and the biblical promise that the “effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much.” This was a call to awaken, to pray with purpose, and to believe God for revival in our homes, our church, and our nation.

Today’s message explored why Christians are called to live differently from the world around them. Pastor Scott shared how God desires His people to stand out — not in arrogance, but in love, integrity, and holiness. When our lives look different, people notice. And when life gets hard, they often turn to the people whose faith is real. If you’re searching for a faith that actually changes how you live, we’d love to walk that journey with you.
