Those educated in firearm basics are much less likely to misuse them. Ignorance breeds both false bravado and irrational fear, depending on the individual.

The National African American Gun Association will be launching a Free Membership Program (SEED) for students ages 18 to 24 to grow student engagement within the 2A Community.

As a whole, the Left doesn't believe in the God our founders did; they don't believe in "God given rights", only government give rights.

With the presidential election just a few days away, polling data published by Fox News shows former President Donald Trump up by 6 points on a key issue for many voters: Gun rights.

Expectation and Invitation

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17

“Oh Lord, come!” is the continual cry of the Spirit within the Church, as we long for our heavenly Bridegroom.

This cry echoes an equally earnest call, which is the invitation of Christ Himself given through His Bride to the lost is, “if anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink” (John 7:37). God calls to mankind in a generous, yet urgent, way to “come to the waters” of life (Is. 55:1).

Expectation and invitation go together. The Lord’s return and world evangelism are vitally connected. With our hands stretched up we cry, “Jesus, come back!” With our hands stretched out we call, “Come to Jesus!” So ends the book of Revelation and the Bible, and so will such a passionate cry and call end human history! Amen!

He's taking a political position, not a medical one.

These infringements, as they always do, will only burden “law-abiding” people. Criminals will still get all the guns they want the old-fashioned way as they keep sending doctors more patients.

"Bystanders who do try to help in these kinds of instances are promptly pilloried as “vigilantes” by our self-righteous media and then, without delay, victimized themselves by leftist politicians."

"Look at the local hero Daniel Penny’s current plight in NYC!"

We have a friend that has 'hope for the future' while denying the resurrection. The assertion that humans are innately good is one of the silliest possible.

So much for all that “expert” advice to “never fight back” and just give bad guys what they want, even when “what they want” is to beat you to death.

God’s Final Victory

And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation." Revelation 5:9

John sees a vision of the ever-expanding worship of Heaven around the throne of God. The four living creatures praise God’s holiness, and the twenty-four elders extol His creative power (Rev. 4:8, 11). Then they begin to sing a “new song” of praise to the Lamb (Rev. 5:9, 10). The angels of Heaven join in this new song of praise to the Lamb (Rev. 5:12). Ultimately, every creature joins in praise to God and the Lamb saying, “blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!” (Rev. 5:13).

Heaven anticipates God’s final victory. The Great Commission will be fulfilled. The redeemed from every tribe, tongue, people and nation will praise God and the Lamb around the throne. Hallelujah! In some unexplained way, “the prayers of the saints” played a part (Rev. 5:8). The redeemed learned to intercede, so that “His kingdom would come and His will would be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

What a revelation! God wins as we pray!

Praying for Leaders

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,..
1 Timothy 2:1

Since the purpose of God our Savior is that all be saved through the ransom of His Son, Paul urges believers to pray for all men, especially those in authority. Why? Because, intercession for governing authorities results in a society where “we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:2).

As in the first century, there is great need for peace and tranquility in the world. Therefore, a growing number of believers are learning to intercede for the kings, presidents, prime ministers and rulers of each country. Regional conflicts, social unrest and political upheavals can be resolved, and the gospel spreads more rapidly as we faithfully petition, pray and intercede with thanksgiving for all those in authority.

Lord, teach us to pray, so that Your desire for the salvation of all men may be advanced in every nation.

Calvinists call stopping at an arbitrary "chapter" designation "exegesis" when it comes to Romans 9. They also completely miss those little letters or numbers (depending on translation) within the text of passages like Romans 9:13 that refer back to a complete Old Testament passage...

(Pro Tip: it was common practice in the first century; especially when quoting in writing; to quote only the first line of the passage and trust your audience to remember the rest...because paper and ink were EXPENSIVE!)

Try that with other chapters and you REALLY miss the boat, right?

Same with Romans 9.
