Grace Church established in 1856, is part of the United Methodist Church, a denomination founded in America in 1784. The first building was constructed on the present site in 1859. The present building, the third on this site, was dedicated in 1916. Vermont granite was used with granite trimmings coming from quarries in Woodbury, Concord and Hardwick. An outstanding feature of the church sanctuary

is the Turner memorial window, a product of Tiffany Studios of New York. The stained glass gothic window depicts the announcement by the angels to shepherds of the birth of Jesus Christ. Kirk Thompson., the forty-seventh pastor of the church was appointed to serve Grace Church in 2011.

Join our welcoming church community as a part-time Church Secretary! We’re seeking a friendly, organized individual to assist with office tasks and support our ministry team.

Position Details:
• 3 mornings per week
• Part-time position, no benefits
• Duties include answering phones, managing emails, preparing bulletins, and basic office tasks

Luke 2:8-14
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

John 3:16 is the heartbeat of God poured out in words—a love so fierce, so selfless, so unfathomable, it stepped into our brokenness so we could step into life.

He didn’t wait for you to be strong, perfect, or put together. He loved you first. He loved you fully. He loved you enough to give what was most precious to Him, just so you would never have to walk through this world alone.

If you ever feel unseen, forgotten, or not enough, let this truth steady you: You were worth the greatest sacrifice Heaven could offer.

Whoever believes in Him—no matter the past, no matter the struggle, no matter the pain—receives a life that can’t be taken, a hope that can’t be shaken, and a love that never runs out.

You are deeply, eternally loved. And that love changes everything. 🙏🏻🤍
