Join us for Sunday Morning Sitting (https://st-johnsbury.shambhala.org/programs/?pid=3207) from 9:00 to 10:00 am for online group sitting meditation or for evening study groups on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our Story

The Shambhala Meditation Center of St. Johnsbury is part of Shambhala International, an organization dedicated to manifesting enlightened society through its programs of meditation, studies, and social interactions. Founded by the late Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, it is now under the guidance of his son and successor, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. The Center offers classes, teachings and variety of interactional and practice events that manifest the teachings of the Shambhala vision for embodying enlightened society in our everyday life. Located on the 2nd floor, look for our entrance next door to the Star Movie Theater. We are open every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm for Ordinary Magic, an open house event. And on Sundays from 9:00 to 10:00 am for sitting meditation. There is no charge for these events and no charge for meditation instruction.
