John the Baptist, the Patron Saint for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. Sponsored by St. John the Baptist Catholic Church together with many volunteers and sponsors we come together to celebrate the feast day of St. John the Baptist. In keeping with long standing tradition and always adding new activities for everyone of all ages to enjoy we celebrate with many activities. Activities in
clude Mass, parade, bingo, horseshoe tournament, swimming, children's games, youth dance, variety show & Royalty Coronation. We have great entertainment for the Grand Baille playing a variety of music from oldies, rock & roll, country and traditional Spanish music. If you are hungry there is plenty of food to choose from with the traditional pit smoked bbq, Native American food, hotdogs, hamburgers, Mexican food and of course snack foods & sweet treats that can be purchased from a variety of vendors. We will also be expanding our craft show into a two day event. This is a great opportunity to stock up on gifts, find great bargains on home crafted items, jewelry, yard art, homemade soap & beauty products, local grown vegetables, baby quilts, clothing, and much more. The annual fiesta celebration is one of two big celebrations in our community during the year and we welcome everyone to come celebrate with us. Many families celebrate their own reunions during this event as well as class reunions as there is so much to do and enjoy in our normally quiet community.
