What is it important to have the mind of Christ. Because fleshly thoughts lead to futility. Ephesians 4:17
"Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds". Also Isaiah 26:3 says that if we keep our mind on Christ he will keep us in perfect peace.

20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness[a] were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

2 Corinthians 3:7-9 (ESV) 2Co 3:7 Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,
2Co 3:8 will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?
2Co 3:9 For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory.

God in His Glory is... Great, Good, and Gracious. His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth. He is interested and cares about our lives. He wants to be involved in our lives. Think of that. The Creator, the God of the universe wants to be involved in our lives. The Bible says he stands at the door of our hearts and knocks. But he won't come in if we don't let him in. We let in to our hearts by recognizing that we are sinners in need of a Savior. Repenting of our sins and asking the Lord to forgive us. And then putting our faith and Trust in Jesus and making Him lord of our lives. Then we are reconciled to God and we have eternal life and a home in heaven. Is it always easy ... certainly not.. But I have peace and assurance that the Lord always is with me and always has my best in mind. He promises never to leave us or forsake us. A life with the Lord is no life at all.

I understand that it is not always easy. We need to remember to be grateful even in the hard times. This pleases the Lord and irritates the devil. Constantly murmuring and complaining gives place to the devil and is unpleasing to the Lord. As a matter of fact the Bible says that God hates it. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
New King James Version says
"18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Lets ask the Lord to help us stay humble and grateful.
