A Nation Rededicated

As the United States marks the 250th anniversary of its independence, President Trump has called on Americans to renew the nation’s dedication to God this Sunday, May 17.

Thousands are expected to gather on the National Mall, while tens of thousands of churches across the country unite in prayer for America. This will be a meaningful opportunity to remember our spiritual heritage, seek God’s guidance for the future, and reaffirm the enduring principles of faith and liberty upon which the nation was founded. Echoing the inscription on the Liberty Bell, we come together to “proclaim liberty throughout all the land” (Leviticus 25:10).

Who holds America’s future? God’s people. Scripture reminds us: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

It is with saddness that we announce the passing of Reverend Ruby Hammack. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7).” Please keep her husband John and all the family in prayer.
