We are living in a Post-Christian country. The morals and values of our society have decayed. We are in desperate need of a revival. Revivals tend to come about by prayerful people who start powerful prayer movements. Dr. A.T. Pierson said, "there has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer."

We need to be united in prayer. God's people need to turn back to God and direct our hearts to Him and that begins in prayer.

Today is anti-slavery day. There are 50 million people in the world today who are in some form of slavery. Will you join me today in united prayer for these 50 million people who are in slavery in the world today? Let's be the kind of people who turn back to God and direct our hearts to him and begin it humbly with prayer asking for his help for those afflicted in our world.

1 Samuel 7:3 (ESV)

And Samuel said to all the house of Israel, “If you are returning to the Lord with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you and direct your heart to the Lord and serve him only, and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.”

Beginning on September 10 we are going to be starting a new series. We are calling this series Leveling the Playing Field. We are going to take a birds-eye view of Scripture to search for God's Person (who he is - his character traits), God's People (and their role), and God's Provision (how does he provide for His people).

This will be done through Bible classes for all ages starting at 10 AM and our worship service starting at 11 AM. If you would like to join us, but can't make it in person - you can join us online (either live or when you have time) by going to our website.
