On Sunday the Lil Disciples were taught to be a good friend and support each other when struggling to do hard things. They learned that Jesus is asking us to deny ourselves for the sake of others. They made their own crucifix to remind them of what Jesus did for them.

47 Lil Disciples yesterday! Wow! They were so well behaved and cooperative! We apologize for struggling to get them upstairs in time and for maybe a few with cotton balls still stuck to their hands. 😂 We learned that Mary was taken up to Heaven body and soul. We learned that because she had no sin and because she always said “Yes” to God, Her soul was never separated from her body like ours will be. We learned that because she is the Mother of God she is eternally Honored and that she is the Queen of Heaven and Earth.

We had a great time with our Canidates for Confirmation over the weekend! This was our largest group since we began 5 years ago and they were all so well behaved and excited to participate! It was a joy to spend time with them! Also pictured is the blessing over them by Fr Maletta at the 10am Mass and introduction to the parish! Please pray for these young adults as they prepare to celebrate the sacrament! The Holy Spirit is very active in their souls!❤️🙏

Our Lil Disciples learned about the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000 with only 2 fish and 5 loaves. They created their own baskets of fish and bread to help them remember the Gospel today!
