Dear Lord,
Thank you for the incredible moments and growth our students have experienced over the last few days. As we enter day 4, help them to make every single moment count.

Lord, we pray against the temptation to mentally “check out” or focus too much on going home. Keep their attention locked on You today. For any teen who is struggling or searching, we pray for a breakthrough before this camp ends. Give them courage to accept Your love and truth.

As we look forward to the final evening service, please press upon their hearts to make lasting commitments to You. Help them not just to enjoy a temporary “camp high” but to understand how to carry their faith, friendship and lessons they have learned this week back into their everyday life.

In Jesus name we pray-Amen.

In tonight‘s church group time, several students gave their testimony about when they came to know Christ as Savior. Then Pastor Curt asked them to pretend that he had no idea about salvation. He then asked the students to explain salvation to him as he asked them questions. This was an opportunity to teach students how to talk to others about salvation and God‘s word. Next, Pastor Curt asked students to simply ask questions about the Bible or topics about God they found confusing. We talked about a lot of different subjects, ranging from creation to God’s eternal nature. It was a great time of conversation with our students.

In tonight’s message, the camp pastor explored the metaphor Jesus gave about the vine and the branches (John 15). As believers in Jesus, we are connected to him. He is the true vine, and we are the branches. As the Bible teaches if we remain in him, he remains in us, and he will produce fruit in our lives. The camp pastor talked about how our lives can make an enormous difference in the world around us so that others may believe in Jesus as well.
