Today our Fusion students had a Back to School lunch and lesson with Pastor Curt. He compared the philosophies of our culture to “cookies”. Cookies look good and taste good, but do not provide the nutrition we need. In a similar way culture’cookies look good, but leave us spiritually starving. Students then took a look at numerous Bible passages that talk about how we need the spiritual nourishment the Bible provides us. Next, the students created a poster depicting one of the Bible passages we explored. The lesson ended by discussing some practical tips about reading the Bible. Thanks to our adult helpers!
