✨Secure in Christ ✨

Life brings real hardship. Pain, loss, pressure, and seasons that feel overwhelming — and being a Christian doesn’t exempt us from any of it. Paul is honest about that. He doesn’t pretend the Christian life is about comfort or having “your best life now.”

But he does give us something far better:

Confidence.
Security.
Assurance.
Unshakeable hope.

In Romans 8:31–39, Paul reminds us that even in suffering, we are never abandoned. We are not isolated, forgotten, or left to endure on our own. The God who gave His Son for us is the same God who holds us, keeps us, and carries us through every trial.

Our hope isn’t in avoiding hardship —
our hope is in Christ who is with us in it.

We don’t live for ease.
We live in freedom — freedom purchased by Jesus, secured by His love, and guaranteed by His victory.

Nothing can separate us from that.

✨ More Than Conquerors ✨

When life presses in and doubts whisper, Paul reminds us of one unshakable truth in Romans 8:31-39:

If God is for us, who can be against us?

Nothing can separate us from His love — not hardship, not fear, not even death itself.
In Christ, we are more than conquerors because His victory is ours forever.

Happy Father’s Day from Zion Bible Church!

Today we celebrated the dads in our church family — men who lead with love, faith, and integrity.
After the service, the kids handed out Dad’s Root Beer as a sweet reminder of how refreshing godly fatherhood really is. 😃

✨ Suffering, Hope, and God’s Purpose ✨

Romans 8:18–30
Paul doesn’t deny the reality of suffering — he puts it in perspective. Our present pain is real, but it’s nothing compared to the glory God is preparing for His people.

And when Paul speaks of predestination, he’s not pointing us to a system or a theologian.
We don’t preach the teachings of John Calvin.
We preach the Bible.

Scripture uses the word predestined to give believers assurance.
If you accept God’s will in your life…
If you love Christ…
Then you can rest in this truth:

You are predestined — and you can’t lose what you never earned in the first place.
Your salvation is secure because it began with God, not you.

Suffering doesn’t cancel God’s purpose.
It confirms that He is shaping you for the glory He planned from the beginning.

Tonight we witnessed something truly beautiful Tyrel and Tasha publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ through baptism.

A husband and wife, side by side, giving their lives to Christ and stepping forward in joyful obedience.

We’re thrilled to welcome them as partners at Zion Bible Church, and we look forward to the impact they will have as they help spread the gospel here in St. George.

Praise God for new life and the transforming power of His grace.
