Serve One Another

Scripture:
“By love serve one another.” — Galatians 5:13, KJV

Devotion:
Generosity is not limited to money. We can be generous with our service. Serving others in love reflects humility and Christlike character. When we serve, we remind others that they matter and that God’s love is active through His people.

Prayer:
Lord, help me serve others with love, humility, and patience. Use my hands to bless someone today. Amen.

A Joyful Sacrifice

Scripture:
“Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High.” — Psalm 50:14, KJV

Devotion:
Generosity is connected to gratitude. When we remember what God has done, giving becomes a thankful response. A joyful sacrifice says, “Lord, I recognize Your goodness, and I want my life to honor You.”

Prayer:
Father, fill my heart with thanksgiving. Let my generosity flow from gratitude for all You have done. Amen.

Joy in Helping Others

Scripture:
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” — Acts 20:35, KJV

Devotion:
The world often teaches us to focus on receiving, but Jesus teaches us the blessing of giving. Helping others shifts our focus from self to service. Generosity opens our eyes to the needs around us and allows us to participate in God’s care for His people.

Prayer:
Lord, give me joy in helping others. Open my eyes to the needs around me and show me how to respond with love. Amen.

Giving Is Worship

Scripture:
“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.” — Proverbs 3:9, KJV

Devotion:
Giving is not just a financial act; it is an act of worship. When we honor God with what He has given us, we declare that He comes first. Generosity reminds our hearts that God is greater than our possessions and more faithful than our fears.

Prayer:
Lord, help me honor You with my resources, my time, my gifts, and my life. May my giving be worship. Amen.

The Joy of Sharing

Scripture:
“To do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” — Hebrews 13:16, KJV

Devotion:
Sharing is a spiritual practice. When we share our resources, encouragement, wisdom, and time, we honor God. Generosity may require sacrifice, but it also produces joy. There is blessing in knowing that what God gave us helped strengthen someone else.

Prayer:
Lord, help me not forget to do good and share with others. Let my life be pleasing to You. Amen.

Give What You Can

Scripture:
“She hath done what she could.” — Mark 14:8, KJV

Devotion:
God does not ask us to give what we do not have. He asks us to be faithful with what we do have. The woman who anointed Jesus gave what she could, and her act of devotion was remembered. Never underestimate the power of giving your best, even when your best feels small.

Prayer:
Lord, help me stop comparing my gift to others. Teach me to give what I can with love and faithfulness. Amen.

Give Without Grumbling

Scripture:
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings.” — Philippians 2:14, KJV

Devotion:
The spirit in which we give matters. We can do the right thing with the wrong attitude. God calls us to serve and give without complaining. When we release grumbling, generosity becomes lighter, freer, and more pleasing to God.

Prayer:
Lord, cleanse my attitude. Help me serve and give without resentment, complaint, or frustration. Amen.

Give Cheerfully

Scripture:
“God loveth a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7, KJV

Devotion:
God does not desire forced giving. He desires joyful giving. Cheerful generosity flows from trust, gratitude, and love. When we give with joy, our giving becomes worship. It says, “Lord, I trust You enough to release what is in my hand.”

Prayer:
Lord, remove reluctance from my heart. Teach me to give joyfully, trusting that You are my provider. Amen.

Open Hands, Open Heart

Scripture:
“The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” — Proverbs 11:25, KJV

Devotion:
A generous person refreshes others. God has a way of replenishing those who pour out in faith. This does not mean we give only to receive. It means we can trust God to care for us as we care for others. Open hands reflect an open heart.

Prayer:
Lord, make me a person who refreshes others. Help me give, serve, and love with open hands and an open heart. Amen.

Generosity Reflects God’s Love

Scripture:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” — John 3:16, KJV

Devotion:
The greatest act of generosity was God giving His Son for the world. God’s love was not passive; it moved Him to give. True generosity is rooted in love. When we give with love, we reflect the heart of the Father and point others toward the goodness of Christ.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for giving Your Son. Let my generosity be rooted in love and shaped by Your example. Amen.
