God Never Said That!
A Brand New 4-week series at SECC

We’ve all heard phrases like…

“God will never give you more than you can handle.”
“Forgive and forget.”
“God just wants you to be happy.”
“Everything happens for a reason.”

They sound comforting.
They get repeated all the time.
They even feel biblical.

But here’s the truth:
God never actually said them.

And when we build our lives on things God didn’t say…
we end up confused, discouraged, and sometimes even disappointed in Him.

In this 4-week series, God Never Said That, we’re going to take a hard look at some of the most common cultural sayings about God and compare them to what Scripture really teaches.

Because God’s truth doesn’t just sound better—
it actually holds up when life gets hard.
