God Is Love South Sudanese Fellowship St. Cloud MN

Today at Lake George in St. Cloud, MN, Pastor Beth buckwalter, Pastor Darin Seaman, and many other ministers participated in a Palm Sunday march, walking around the lake. There were meaningful programs throughout the event, and faith leaders across the country that came together in this way reflecting the call of Jesus to welcome the stranger, care for the hungry, and serve others.

Pastor Beth has also been actively involved in community efforts in the past few months including standing with others in response to ICE-related concerns and helping care for neighbors.

These are the kinds of voices we are grateful to have around us especially for Black and minority communities. Leaders who do not just speak, but act. Leaders who are willing to stand in the struggle with the people.

There is something truly powerful when church leaders speak up, even when it may not be easy within their own congregations.

God is Love!
The South Sudanese Fellowship in St. Cloud, Minnesota, was invited to share a worship service with our dear friends at a church in Willmar, Minnesota, where Pastor Leanne Thompson led on October 12, 2025. Pastor Elizabeth Tot was invited to preach, and the South Sudanese women’s congregation shared what God has called them to do.

It was truly a vibrant community gathering where God’s love was evident among those who came together to celebrate, worship, and serve God’s people.
