Higher Ground Church of God in Christ Elder James E. Alberts, II, Senior Pastor Higher Ground Church of God in Christ was founded in 2001 by Pastor James E. Frazier.

Alberts II under the leadership of Bishop S.N. Pastor Alberts, a native of Austin,Texas has been in the ministry since he was 14 years old. In the past nine years, Pastor Alberts has grown this ministry from just few members to a ministry that inlcudes hundreds. Our humble beginnings of holding services in a local school cafeteria serve as a reminder of how far we have come as we fellowship in our

current 3,000 sqft facility. We are a diverse congregation, made up of different races, creeds, and colors believing in the words of Christ, "If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me."
