Step into an evening of good company and elegant fun at our Valentine’s Dance for all adults—married and single. Join us for a practical, uplifting workshop focused on building confidence and preparedness in everyday life. Sessions will include life planning, health and nutrition, and hands-on skills designed to strengthen individuals and families for every season of life. Lunch will be served.

With the unrest throughout Minnesota, there are several faith communities that are joining together in a day of fasting and prayer this Friday, January 23rd. The purpose of the day is to join with others to fast and pray for peace, safety, and comfort, as well as an expression of unity with Minnesotans and those individuals and families in our own congregations that are experiencing fear, uncertainty, and heartache during this time.

We and our neighbors are strengthened and blessed as we unite in fasting and prayer as we turn to our Heavenly Father and Savior in faith.

REMEMBER HIM: A Savior was Prophesied

Isaiah, a prophet who lived over seven hundred years before Jesus Christ, told of His birth, His ministry here, and His death and resurrection.

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

What else was prophesied about Jesus? Many biblical prophecies center on Jesus Christ, His life, and His role in the destiny of all humankind.

How will you Remember Him in the interval between Christmas and Easter?

REMEMBER HIM
This season, we begin a journey that does not end on December 25th. We remember His birth. Light of the World is an opportunity to share with family and friends the glad tidings of the Gospel this Christmas, then move with purpose toward His Resurrection. From Christmas to Easter, we invite you to Remember Him—not only in our holiday traditions, but in daily discipleship, personal devotion, service, gratitude, and love. Christmas and Easter are connected, and we invite you to intentionally remember Him throughout the coming months. Our hope is that this inspires each of us to let His light stay alive in our lives long after the tree is taken down. Because He was born… and because He lives… we can live with hope, with purpose, and with joy—every day.
