Multiplication Monday!

Last week, we celebrated the retirement of Gary & Jean Dorn after many years in ministry in North Dakota, with their most recent ministry as church planters of Christ Community Church in Rugby, ND. Gary and Jean's adventure started in Rugby a few years ago with a phone call saying they "accidentally" started a church. We are so grateful to Gary & Jean for their faithful leadership and care for the church.

We also celebrated the installation of Sam & Elissa Karlovich as the new pastor family at CCC-Rugby. God knew the transition timeline and brought Sam & Elissa almost two years ago, who were looking for a church in a small, rural town full of people who need Jesus.

God makes our accidents His plan! We love you Gary & Jean and Sam & Elissa!

Welcome back Tim & Penny! We are excited to have you in our district again! Please reach out to Tim and Penny to learn more about this new adventure.

This note was part of the RAIN Newsletter this summer:

Tim and Penny Iverson served as International Workers with the C&MA for 34 years before returning to the US at the end of 2024. God has given them a heart for the nations, and though they are no longer living overseas – that passion for people has continued as a heart to reach out to the nations who have come to live here as our neighbors.

Penny has joined our RAIN Executive Team and has assumed the role of RAIN National Leadership Team Coordinator. Penny will be coordinating with our districts and associations to provide opportunities for training, education, resources and encouragement in order to see more of our churches and individuals reach out to the immigrants and refugees in their own neighborhoods.

Tim has joined the National Leadership Team as RAIN’s lead for the North Central District.

May has been a busy month for our Heart 2 Heart Gatherings… but such joy has filled my heart through our meetings.
