In addition to our beautiful grounds, expect to see a lot more of the seminary campus. Abbey Youth Fest is a Catholic youth ministry event on the grounds of St. Joseph's Abbey and Seminary College which is designed to deepen a teenager's' relationship with God. The day consists of great speakers, entertaining music, and much more. The schedule reaches its climax with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

and a candlelight adoration after the sun goes down. There are confessions available all day, vendors selling merchandise, numerous vocational groups present, and much more. Visit our website at: abbeyyouthfest.com

After much consideration, the decision has been made to officially “postpone” Abbey Youth Festival until next year. We are offering full refunds in addition to the option to credit your registrations to next year’s festival. Please refrain from individual refund requests. Refund requests will be best processed through your group’s leader. We are accepting donations to offset the costs of this year’s festival. Thank you for your kindness and consideration. Be assured of our prayers for you, your families, and the youth to whom you minister. God bless, and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s Abbey Youth Festival!

To all of our AYF Family, please read and share the following message from Abbey Youth Festival and Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College:

As more cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) are being identified in the Greater New Orleans area, organizers of this year’s Abbey Youth Fest (AYF) have decided to postpone the event until further notice. AYF was initially scheduled for Saturday, March 21st.



The decision to postpone AYF, the largest youth event within the Archdiocese of New Orleans, was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of AYF participants and their families as well as seminarians, faculty, staff, and the monastic community at the Abbey.



For more information, including details about refunds, or if you are interested in applying your registration fee to the next scheduled AYF, please contact Joe Bass at [email protected] or 985-867-2279. We thank you in advance for your patience as we process the myriad of details associated with postponing an event of this size.
