Yesterday, Members of our Assembly Color Corps and other Assemblies Color Corps from the Diocese of St. Augustine joined our District Marshal for the conclusion of the 2025 Eucharistic Rosary Congress at the National Shrine of Our Lady of la Leche in Historic St. Augustine, Florida.

Welcome to Our New Sir Knights!!

On Saturday, September 13th, 2025 a Fourth Degree Exemplification was held at San Sebastian Catholic Church here in St. Augustine. There were 84 Candidates in all, along with 35 Sir Knights of the Color Corps, representing 10 Assemblies. From our own Assembly, we had 15 Candidates take their Fourth Degree, which is a record number for us in recent history. The Honoree for the Degree and Class of Candidates was our very own SK Allen McCaffery Jr., FDD, PGK, PFN and our current Faithful Comptroller. As our Assembly was the host, we had a large group of Sir Knights volunteering their time to make this as smooth as possible.

On this day, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the tragic attacks of September 11, 2001.

We honor the courage of first responders, the strength of survivors, and the faith of families who carry the memory of their loved ones.

As Knights, we entrust all victims to God’s mercy and continue to pray for peace, healing, and unity in our nation.

🙏 Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

Yesterday was a busy day for our Assembly, in addition to the Founder's Day Mass, Sir Knights Carl Jacquet, Mac McGowan, and Frank Hill traveled up to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jacksonville to stand guard for the Veneration of the Relics of St. Pio (Padre Pio). This event involved the support of Assemblies throughout the Diocese who stood guard all day on a rotation basis. We are truly humbled to have taken part in this sacred event.
