A Tribute to Dolly Parton — A Great Loss to America and Country Music

With profound sadness, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, loved ones, and millions of fans of Dolly Parton following her passing at the age of 80.

Dolly Parton was far more than a country music legend. She was an extraordinary songwriter, entertainer, philanthropist, and American icon whose music touched generations and whose generosity touched countless lives.

Her voice, her songwriting, her laughter, her compassion, and her unmistakable presence helped shape the country music community and American culture. Her legacy will continue through the music she created, the lives she inspired, and the many people she helped along the way.

This is truly a great loss to the country music community and to our nation.

At JBIM and Nikao Church, we pause to honor her life and accomplishments and to pray for comfort and strength for her family, friends, colleagues, and fans during this difficult time.

May her family find peace in the memories of a remarkable life, and may the legacy she leaves behind continue to inspire generations to come.
