Repentance what does it mean to you? Many think it is just turning around and giving up something or doing something that you stop doing, let me share with you that when you repent there is always precedes the coming forth of Christ in a person’s life. To "prepare" and "make ready" is the purpose of repentance. Let's be sure we understand: John's call to repentance did not merely make men sorry; it made men ready.

True repentance is to turn over the soil of the heart; it is to prepare the heart for a new planting of righteousness or directives from God. It is a vital stage where the kindness of the Lord works with us enlarging our capacity to walk in greater spiritual maturity. To repent is to "change one's mind." Such change can come quickly or it may take time and effort. Either way, the goal is to "bear fruit in keeping with repentance" (Matt. 3:8).

Thought of the day:
I have noticed that when ever I am around people, they want to know what do you do in Ministry, or who you are in Ministry. Most Christians define themselves by what they do for God rather than what they are becoming in Him. What pleases the Father most is not what proceeds from your hands but what rises from your hearts. He is seeking the revelation of His Son in us. There is nothing on earth that so pleases the Father's heart as when Jesus Christ is revealed through us. As Paul wrote, we become a “fragrance of Christ to God” (2 Cor. 2:15).
As a result, Paul wrote that intimacy with Christ was the deepest cry of his heart. He said, "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death" (Phil. 3:10).

Matthew 5:8 says, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.
Blessed is the man whose motives are always entirely unmixed, for that man shall see God.
It is very seldom indeed that we do even our finest actions from absolutely unmixed motives. If we give generously and liberally to some good cause, it may well be that there lingers in the depths of our hearts some contentment in basking in the sunshine of our own self-approval, some pleasure in the praise and thanks and credit which we will receive. If we do some fine thing, which demands some sacrifice from us, it may well be that we are not altogether free from the feeling that men will see something heroic in us and that we may regard ourselves as martyrs. Even a preacher at his most sincere is not altogether free from the danger of self-satisfaction in having preached a good sermon. Was it not John Bunyan who was once told by someone that he had preached well that day, and who answered sadly, "The devil already told me that as I was coming down the pulpit steps"?
This beatitude demands from us the most exacting self-examination.

Thought of the day;
When Jesus said for us to carry our Cross daily, carrying the Cross unlocked the power for us to see that the Cross puts to death our Fears, Lust and lack of love, and to carry the Cross is to agree that something in us must die for Christ to live. Thus Paul wrote, "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death" (Philippians 3:10). If we will know the power of His resurrection, we must embrace the fellowship of His sufferings.

Thought of the day:
When we speak to people about living a life of Galatian 2:20, they often fight against the idea, but brokenness and the death of our old self are integral parts of our spiritual journey. Our outer, husk nature must break. It must experience death in order for our inner man to find true spiritual life with Christ. Every genuine spiritual advance comes because, in some way, our outer man breaks and our inner man is touched and made alive by the breath of God. Beloved, every act of true faith comes because this inner man responds to the promise of God. Genuine worship – that which exists only in spirit and in truth – is the product of God intimately loving the inner man, even at the funeral of the outer.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY
We are living in times of uncertainty ,many are wondering and confused.This not a time to do that but to draw closer to our King.In Rev11:1 John was asked by the Lord to measure the temple,As we all know that the temple in Jerusalem had been turned in to rubble.He was not commanded to measure the physical temple, but the spiritual temple.

We are His Temple today where he Dwells, the Lord is asking us to measure the alter, that we have created in us where we worship him in our hearts, measure how we present ourselves as a living sacrifice to Him.Those who have poured out their lives upon the alter of Sacrifice.They will be the ones who have learnt the secret of abiding in the Holy place of God.

when the Lord called David to seek His face, David responded, "Your face, O Lord, I shall seek" (Ps. 27:8). This is the essence of one who has "a heart after God." We seek God for His heart, not merely His hand. We have asked Him to extend His hand, to touch and heal us. But the Lord, in His great love for us, desires we seek His face.

Thought of the day
The High and lofty one who inhabits eternity,The Holy One, says this”I live in that high and Holy Place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble.I refresh the humble and give new courage to those with repentant hearts” Isaiah 57:15

09/17/2021

We need to pray that God will show forth such a display and weight of His glory in our midst that we will be able to reprove the world of sin, as we ought to be doing. I do not mean by much talk, and pointing the finger of accusation: I mean by so living and expressing the life of Christ in the world, that the world is confronted with the all-seeing eye of God, and knows that it is God Himself who is reproving them "of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment" (Jn. 16:8)

Thought of the day;
I have had this on my heart this week, I am going to write it ,I know it will offend some, including some ministers, that’s ok.We see people running after Ministers trying to get a mantle or a word from them.Brothers and Sisters Mantles by God are not given because you know a Minister or Ministry .God places those mantle when the mantle bearer is made ready by God, they have paid the price.Just saying that I am dead and Christ lives in me.Saying is not enough,Jesus said judge the Tree by its fruit.Is He the Fruit coming out of you.What are you filling your selves within you, if you are the temple of His, the only things filling you should be His virtues .Let him prepare you, run after Him, and Him alone.

Many Christians look for shortcuts to the power of God. To try shortcuts is to become, at best, frustrated; at worst, a false teacher or prophet. Listen very carefully: there is tremendous power for us in God but not without holiness. Holiness precedes power.

Thought of the day:
I want to share this morning with you about this scripture “I am the Lord, your God: be ye holy, for I am holy.”

The holiness that God is requiring of us, is the holiness relating to His own.The holiness of God is in Himself, and of Himself, and for Himself, it is therefore necessary that the all holiness of our soul be in God, of God, and for God.It must be in God, existing only in Him, other wise it would be your ability, and you would rob Him of something, and of God, sing that all Holiness that is not received from God, seeing that all holiness that is not received from God, cannot be called such, and must serve His glory.Now this soul that arrives to Him, has no longer anything in itself, but by its loss into God, every-thing in itself, anymore than it comes from itself.But a everything has come from God, so has everything flowed there again..This is the holiness that He desires from us.It is not in ourself, but it is His holiness that is imparted to us and all glory goes to Him.

Thought of the day:
"The flowers of the earth do not grudge at one another, though one be more beautiful and fuller of virtue than another, but they stand humbly, kindly, one by another, and enjoy one another’s virtue; so we all please God, if we give up ourselves into his will; if we all stand humbly in his field.
