Open Air Campaigners is an interdenominational ministry of evangelism committed to proclaiming the gospel to the unreached through open air and other outreaches in partnership with the church. All of our evangelists in the Overseas Ministries are nationals. They need no language school, cultural orientation, visa, or high salary. Having attended Bible School, and been trained by OACOM , they are r
eady and equipped to reach their own countrymen for Christ. People of all ages are attending their meetings in the open air and school assemblies. The gospel is being clearly presented through illustrated messages, Christian films, and dramas. Just as Christ went to the people where they were, our evangelists are going to unreached people in remote villages of North India, jungles of Ecuador, city plazas of Rio de Janeiro, and the public schools of Paraguay with the Good News of salvation. The ministry of OAC began in Australia in 1892, and is now international. In 1989, the Overseas Ministries branch of OAC was established to open branches in developing countries. Today our national evangelists are ministering in the harvest fields of India, Kenya, Russia, Ukraine, Jamaica, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. Every day, at least 1000 people are hearing the gospel through these evangelists.
