St. Johns County's Recycling will be holding their Adopt-A-Road Clean-Up in the Silverleaf neighborhood sponsored by Victory Lutheran Church. This community event is scheduled for Sunday, March 23rd beginning at 3PM. We will meet at 70 Silver Forest Drive St. Augustine, FL 32092. Ages 8+ are encouraged to wear a yellow or other brightly colored shirt. Community service verification letters will be given to anyone requesting them.

The St. Johns County Adopt-a-Road Program owes its popularity and success to its many dedicated volunteers. By working together, we build a sense of community pride which in turn leads to a cleaner and safer place to live. When we build a sense of community, we are building a better tomorrow.

Join us at our Jacksonville campus (4651 Kernan Blvd. S) on Sunday, June 23rd at 10:30am, as we wish farewell to Pastor Troy, Kelly, and their children. This will be the final Sunday service and sermon that Pastor Troy will be with us before the Schreiners move to Michigan to begin serving at Michigan Lutheran Seminary.

The Schreiners would greatly appreciate the opportunity to say farewell to you, and to be able to share God's Word with you one last time at Victory. Please plan to join us!
(Note: There will only be a 10:30am service that day, no 8am.)

On Friday, May 10th, members of our Victory South Expansion Committee put on a “Grab n’ Go” breakfast for the staff at Ward’s Creek Elementary School. This is the location that our group is now using for Wednesday night Bible Studies, and we are working to build a deeper relationship with them and the community

The breakfast was a HUGE success! 110 staff and teachers were served. It was great getting to know them. Many of them asked about our church and are interested in attending the Wednesday evening Bible Study—including the Principal!

Thank you to those who helped in planning and executing this service and outreach effort. Please continue to keep our St. Johns County expansion in your prayers.

This past Sunday, April 21st, our Victory Expansion team helped with the "Earth Day" litter pick up in St. Johns County. This was a county-wide effort at each of the adopt-a-road locations over the entire weekend. Our stretch of road is on St. Johns Parkway just outside the main Silverleaf community. We had 19 Victory trash pickers and one faithful pet named Peanut. We collected 6 large bags of trash and some large pieces of construction debris totaling 80 pound of trash!

God provided a nice breeze that helped cool workers off and keep the rain away! We were happy to serve this community and were able to get our Victory logo out with our shirts and signs. Afterwards a few gathered at Culvers for a quick meal and fellowship before heading over to the Call meeting that evening. Noteworthy is that we were able to sit at our original expansion meeting table. It was at this table (2 years ago) that our original expansion committee of five planned our driving route to explore St. Johns County! Looking back, it is amazing how the Lord has opened doors to us in this community. We look forward to serving the community as we continue to expand our Victory campus into St. Johns.

Please pray that the Lord finds favor on our efforts to expand His kingdom in St. Johns County and beyond!

This Sunday, April 21st, beginning at 3:30 PM.
We will meet at the Silverleaf Commons. Community service hours letters are available and there will be activities for children under age 8, as well!

Members of our Victory Laps group had a great time at the Biscuits and Bubbles race. Congratulations to our member, George, for winning first place in his age group! We hope you’ll join us for future Victory Laps events!

Victory's Wednesday evening Bible Study on April 10th will be held at Ward's Creek Elementary School! (6555 FL-16, St. Augustine, FL 32092)

We'll begin with snacks and fellowship at 6:30pm, with our Bible Study from 7-8pm. This week, we'll continue exploring Very Important Chapters of the Bible, with the account of the Flood from Genesis 6-9. All are invited from the community to come and grow in God's Word, and the peace that only he can give!

A group of Victory Volunteers helped spread 9,000 eggs for 4 different egg hunts in the Silverleaf neighborhood! There were about 3,000 people in attendance. What a great way to serve our community and build relationships!

Our expansion area in St. Johns County are asking Victory for help! Come at 9:30 and/or 11 AM wearing your Victory yellow volunteer shirts. Volunteers meet in parking lot in front of the fenced in play ground by the vendors. We just spread the eggs in the field and watch the kids fetch them. How easy is that?! Come check out the Spring Market and Food Trucks while making friends in this growing area. Any questions? Just reach out to the church office. Hope to see you there!

Our neighbors at the Silverleaf Amenities & Events Center are looking for volunteers to help with their Easter Egg Hunt on March 23rd.

They were very appreciative of our help in stuffing eggs for this event last week. We'd love to get another group of Victory volunteers to help with the Egg Hunt!

On Thursday, March 7th, a group of our Victory members joined with other members of the Silverleaf community for an Easter egg filling. Our members wore their yellow Victory shirts to stand out as a group and let people know where they were coming from. They spent 2 hours enjoying fellowship with each other, forming relationships with other members of the Silverleaf community, and having fun stuffing the eggs. Connections were made with neighbors and the Amenity Center administration, and our group has been invited back to volunteer for other events in Silverleaf. What a great blessing as we prayerfully look to start a second campus of Victory in the Silverleaf area! Thank you, volunteers!
