What does joy look like?

Not constant satisfaction.
Not a perfect highlight reel.
Not even a new car.

Our joy is different from the world’s definition because it comes from confidence in the goodness of God.

And sometimes, that confidence looks like showing up early.
Serving faithfully.
Welcoming others.
Loving kids.
Loading boxes.
Asking questions.
Giving high-fives.

That’s the kind of joy the Spirit grows.

Sometimes worship looks like greeting someone with a smile and a hug, praying for one another, teaching the next generation, running sound, or setting up pipe and drape.

We’re thankful for every person who serves and helps make Mission City feel like home. 🤍

Some of the most important moments in faith happen quietly.
A prayer before bed. Tiny hands lifted in worship. A moment of silence during a difficult time. This is how parents and grandparents faithfully point the next generation to Jesus. 🤍

This Sunday, we celebrated child dedications and prayed over families, believing that God is still writing stories of faith across generations.
