Nativity celebrates Pride Month and affirms our commitment as a Reconciling in Christ congregation to welcoming and affirming people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. Throughout June we’ll enjoy worship, music, and preaching that lift up the ongoing work of welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for our LGBTQIA+ siblings in Christ.
Summer Sermon Series/All Are Welcome/The Story of Acts
Throughout the month of June
After his resurrection, Jesus leaves his disciples with the call to go and serve as his witnesses to the very ends of the earth. The book of Acts tells the story of how the disciples do just that as Christianity expands, evolves, and becomes increasingly inclusive of people from all walks of life.
This June, in alignment with Pride Month, we will dwell together in these stories from Acts, examining how we can continue to grow as a community of faith where we can truly say, “All are Welcome.”
