We don’t need to preach fear! We should share the love of Jesus, which will bring reverence. When there is reverence, there is respect and honor.

If we try to bring them in by fear, the world will bring them back out by fear..

All it takes is being a real person and loving people! No judgement, just Jesus!

It is with great sadness that I write this post. Bishop Eddie Withrow has made his journey home to be with Jesus! There is not a doubt in my mind he was welcomed with open arms! Eddie wasn’t just a friend, but a mentor, spiritual father. I had the honor to ordain him as Bishop of New Direction Ministries. There was never a time if you called he answered, gave guidance, taught, but even more, prayed! Until his last breath, our last conversation, he was always praying! This earth lost another General of the Faith! An honor serving and working in ministry with him. I’m sure he is still singing, as he is safely sheltered in the arms of God! Love you my friend! I’ll miss you, we’ll see you soon!

Long post, but worth the read.

8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

Mark 8:23a - And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town”

These scriptures came to me tonight at church. I started studying on them a little and the Lord begin to pour in to my spirit. This is one of only a few occurrences in the Bible where Jesus took 2 times to heal. 2 representing “Double Portion”

“What if” he is using this parable to share with us what will happen if our spiritual sight is restored. We will see the men walking “the church” is going to stand tall and strong like a tree? Trees represent, LIFE, GROWTH, and Fertility.

If the church will open their eyes stand tall and strong be bold, they will see Life and growth in masses!

Then the scripture before that came to life… the Bible’s says that Jesus took his hand and led him out of town… it hit me!

We have to leave the crowds for Jesus, get in the secret place and the church will recieve a double portion!

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Waiting on the Lord is not wasted time. It’s time well spent. Waiting doesn’t mean do nothing, it means having faith and an expectation of what is to come!

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Often times things happen that we don’t understand, we must trust that he does all things well! He knows what he’s doing. It’s hard to accept and it’s even harder at times to have the faith, but it’s during those times that we learn to trust him more. It’s during those times our relationship with Jesus becomes more intimate! He Loves us! He knows best!
