Happy blessed Sunday!
I love this passage of scripture that says that God’s Word does not return unto Him void, but it always accomplishes what He sends it out to do! His faithfulness is like the waves of the ocean that never ceases over our lives! I love the ocean! I will be heading to the East Coast on June 7, and get to experience the state of Maine. That’s one place I haven’t been yet. But every vacation I’m always drawn to the ocean. I just feel the majesty and the faithfulness of God there. I love the ocean roar. And as I walk the ocean beaches I am reminded of the majestic power of my heavenly father. It’s important for us to see Him as he truly is. That He is not only our father, but the creator of the universe and yet He hears our every prayer. It’s hard to comprehend but the Bible says it’s so! Sundays are meant to be a day of rest and to realign our focus on what truth really is and what really matters most.
And that is, that you are His child and your life matters and yesterday is gone and a new day has come. Forgetting those things which are behind, We pressed toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:14) Fully embracing the day, is the key to peace and happiness! No one is guaranteed tomorrow, so the key is enjoying each day to the fullest in the presence of Almighty God surrounded by the love of family and friends. What more could we ask for?
"So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
