Palm Sunday Dinner Drama - Sunday March 29th - Our first Dinner Drama was a success! Chef LeRoy and his team did an outstanding job on a fabulous dinner! The New Heart Drama Team created a passionate dialogue in a melodrama, called Let the People of Jesus GO! Written by Kathy Jimenez and Melene Wilsey. This drama shared what followers of Jesus, most likely endured, prior to Jesus' arrest and death on a cross. Roman Soldiers sought honor for Caesar Augustus and sought to enforce all laws! Many arrests were made in this drama for various broken laws. Yet the kind hearted people that love Jesus were able to set the prisoners free! We hope you will come again or come for the first time next year! Thank you Jesus for making this dinner drama possible! ❤️

The Easter Walk on Sat, March 28th served 162 children and parents with 34 volunteers. The journey began by watching the Easter Story of Jesus! Then following the path of the Holy Week, palm celebration of Jesus' arrival, participating in the Last Supper, the Garden were Jesus was arrested, the death, followed by the celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus! At the last station children received an Easter bag of prizes and candy! The smiles said it all! A big thank you to all that helped make this event possible for God's glory!

"Joy" was received by 140 participants at the Christmas Stations on Dec 11th! The angel declared the good news of Jesus' birth, the Candy Cane Story shared that Jesus is our Shepherd, Candyland led the way to Jesus' Birthday Party, and the Shepherds affirmed the truth that Jesus was born for the entire world from his perfect love! The children received a Christmas stocking with the option of a snow sled, a snowman kit, or a cookie decorating kit. Smiles were evident as we celebrated the birth of Jesus! Many thanks to all our volunteers from Aldersgate Church, Hopevale Church, Our Lady of Grace, Saginaw First UMC, and New Life Vineyard Church!

Community Baby Shower Celebration - 50 Mother's to be, plus their guest gathered on November 1st for baby gifts of clothes, heavy and light weight blankets (many handmade), diapers, wipes, baby equipment, plus various supporting gifts for mom. Chef LeRoy hosted an amazing lunch! Pastor Melene gave an encouraging message of faith, hope and unconditional love found in God, through Jesus Christ. Many accepted Christ's invitation of salvation. Praise be to God! Children's Bibles were given to each mom, along with prayer.

We greatly appreciated the following churches and agencies that generously gave of their time and gifts for mom, as follows: Aldersgate Church, Frankenmuth UMC, Hopevale Church, Lapeer Church, Midland First UMC & youth, and Trinity Lutheran of Rose City. We were blessed to be a blessing! ❤️

The children's clothing pantry serves approximately 1,900 families annually! Please consider donating new children's socks and underwear as we seek to serve families and provide hope. Donations can be dropped off anytime, Tuesday - Friday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Celebrating the Back to School Event on August 16! 225 Participants Attended - 142 Children, 83 Parents. Support was given in clothes, socks, and underwear, various school supplies, backpacks, children's books, along with snow cones, and lunch. Prayers were given to children to start off this school year, along with a Got Questions About God station, bounce house, and more!

A BIG THANKS to all 36 Volunteers that helped made this a successful event for children in God's love! ❤️ Which includes New Heart Mission Church, Aldersgate Church, Hopevale Church, New Life Vineyard Church, Midland 1st UM Church and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church! You blessed many! Thank you so much!
