The Valley Church is excited to announce our Vacation Bible School (VBS) Fundraiser! 🎉

This year, we’re working toward a goal of $600 to help us spread the Gospel of Jesus and make VBS an unforgettable experience for the kids in our community. Your support will go toward supplies, activities, snacks, and everything needed to create a fun and meaningful week!

There is something deeply sacred about the calling of an elder.

This isn’t about a title, a position, or recognition—it’s about a life surrendered to the Lord. A called elder is someone who has been set apart, to serve, to lead with humility, and to care for the body of Christ with wisdom and love.

Scripture reminds us that elders are to be above reproach, faithful, self-controlled, and devoted—not perfect, but consistently pursuing the heart of God. They carry the responsibility of guiding others, not by power, but by example.

Today, we honor and pray for Bob who has answered that call. May he be strengthened in seasons of weariness, encouraged in moments of doubt, and continually filled with grace.

“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them… not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.” – 1 Peter 5:2-3
