We delivered treats to the kids at the Rescue Mission and 22 # of personal hygiene items, all donated by members of Messiah. An impressive amount! Way to go everyone!! We are thankful to be able of be of service to our community.

Fun! Delicious! Christ centered! September 13th is our annual kick-off morning for Sunday School and Adult Bible Class. Three year old Pre-school thru 100+years young, all are welcome. We are located in Carrollton on N. Michigan Rd between Tittabawassee and McCarty. Help us spread the word, see you there!

The "Parable of the Weeds" is such a powerful message from Matthew 13:24-43. There are weeds that look just what was planted while they are growing and the difference does not unfold until it bears fruit or flowers. By then its roots are entangled in the root system of the real plant. In this reading the good seed is the children of God. The weeds are the sons of the evil one and the enemy that sowed them is the devil. The reapers of the harvest are angels. Verse 40-43 says: "Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear" Our Savior, whose faithfulness never grows old. Always know God loves YOU, he wants YOU to be a part of his kingdom. Thanks Be to God! Today in Holy Baptism God the Father made Noah a member of His son , our Lord Jesus Christ, and an heir to all the treasures in heaven. We thank and praise God the Father that He granted Noah the new birth in Holy Baptism. Noah and his mother, Sarah, are filled with the Holy Spirit and we thank God that He blessed our Messiah family with them.

Have you EVER read or heard a bible verse 100's of times and then all of a sudden, it takes a new deeper meaning in your heart? The Word of God does not change but our circumstances are constantly changing. There are times we understand God's Word and take comfort in it. There are other times, however, when we either cannot or will not hear it because we become distracted by worries or fears. For this reason, God, Abba, never ceases planting, speaking and growing faith in our heart, and we need to return repeatedly to continue hearing, reading, learning and receiving God's Word because He never gives up on us. He loves us, constantly. Thanks Be To God!!
