Celebration of Life: Megan Aileen Viviani
August 6, 1980 - July 19, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Megan A. Viviani, age 45, who passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Scottsdale, Arizona and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, Megan graduated from the University of Delaware before beginning a life centered on family, friendship, and caring for others.
Megan married the love of her life, Jan, in July 2012. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two wonderful children, Quinn and Travis, who were the center of her world. She was a devoted wife and an extraordinary mother whose unconditional love, kindness, and strength shaped the lives of everyone around her.
Anyone who knew Megan experienced her love. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for, whether they were family, lifelong friends, or someone she had just met. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine compassion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Megan also had a special love for animals, whose companionship brought her endless joy and reflected the kindness she shared so freely with the world.
One of Megan's greatest joys was bringing family and friends together. She loved hosting holidays and celebrations, creating traditions and memories so that Quinn and Travis would grow up surrounded by the love, laughter, and togetherness that meant so much to her. Her home was always a place where everyone felt welcome.
Megan is survived by her loving husband, Jan Viviani; her beloved children, Quinn and Travis; her parents, Gene and Carolyn Wendelken; her sister, Shannon, and brother-in-law, Tim Curren; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Despite facing cancer with remarkable courage and grace, Megan never lost the compassion, warmth, and love that defined her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Megan's life will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Saddle River, New Jersey. Additional service information will be shared with family and friends as arrangements are finalized.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Megan's memory to the Equine Therapy program at Villa Marie Claire, an organization that reflects Megan's lifelong love of animals.
