City Villages

City Villages Establishing a network of faith neighborhoods that offer life, restore community, and transform the city.

A company of seasoned friends in faith, spread throughout our city, who simply offer joyful community and life to their neighbors and friends as Jesus expected we would.

Hi Everyone! We're just now launching our new page for CityVillages! This has been years in the forming, but just a few months in the finalizing. For decades we surveyed the varied landscapes of global religions. Lately we feel more like uneasy seismologists registering new jarring tremors and shifting of the soil beneath us. We've also studied how thoughtful people navigate all the likely stages of faith that we and our friends have (or will) journey. And finally we've had literally thousands of conversations with people from over forty different countries, thirty different Christian traditions, and several other religions. We feel like it's time!
..CityVillages is a relational, easily reproducible approach to establish new faith communities in most every culture along the lines of thoughtful, humble "companies of friends".
..CityVillages is a tool box for using our stories and the parables of our friends (and sometimes even our enemies ) to build community, forge trust, find healing, and restore our cities.
..CityVillages is a mindset of holy curiosity, listening, respect, and trust.
..CityVillages is an awakened appetite for discovery and adventure especially among those who find themselves at the sweet spot of their lives where experience, pain, wisdom, and hope all meet up.

So, I'm going to make a big ask. First, like us on Facebook and when you do, pray for us.

Second, join me on Twitter at: https://twitter.com/city_villages

I promise not to waste your time, but to share with you fascinating and helpful ah-ha's you can actually use or be encouraged by. In other words, no kittens, puppies, or recipes for granola. So, tweet, re-tweet, or whatever else you can do to pass it on.

Last, check out our website at www.ourcityvillages.com and read my blog. Again...no blather or chatter, but great updates, resources, interviews, insights, and discoveries.

Cheers,
Phil
