Calvary Christian Center Royal Ranger Outpost 328 The Royal Rangers program is an activity-based, small group church ministry for boys and young men in grades K-12. This writer has joined the ministry in 2016.

The ministry and South Calvary in person only. This writer is a volunteer. The ministry is for BOYS and has been around for many years at Calvary. The ministry has resorted to a virtual post since March 2020- remains virtual for 2021 Some in person Ranger started June 3 2021. It has returned in person only since March 2022 Wed and Thurs 630pm at North and South Calvary churches. Citing the

pandemic, this writer would ask information/questions/discussions be shared virtually via email exchange or on the Royal Ranger 328 website or comment in the new You-tube channel December 2020. Q/A History of Royal Rangers: Rev. Johnnie Barnes founded this ministry in 1962. He passed in 1989. On his tombstone it reads founder of Royal Rangers. 1962—Royal Rangers started under the direction of Rev. Johnnie Barnes, district youth director from North Texas, as a ministry designed to disciple young men and keep them in our churches. He led it for 27 years. In 2014—Rev. Karl Fleig becomes the fifth national Royal Rangers commander. Q/A Calvary Church: One can call the church 916-929-5725 6 churches. Frequent asked questions: A Boy Ranger is under age 21 but no younger than 5. A Commander is an adult male volunteer 21 and older. Must complete volunteer training, be a member of Calvary, share in the lead Pastor's vision and have the support of other church men. Criminal background check to work in children's ministry is REQUIRED of volunteers. Calvary Ranger history: I have been told verbally the outpost has ministered to more than 200 or more boys. I am told one Commander has run RR ministries for over 30years by himself at times in a leadership capacity 1/20 . Sr Cmmdr Jim Hollinworth, Darren Davis, MSW Lt Commander, Cmm Don W and a host of 30 plus Commanders at Calvary North and South which serve our of a labor of love � without name recognition. Outpost meetings: led by a Commander. Have occurred 3xa week. Preferable Ratio 2 Adult Commanders to 12 boys. This writer is requiring in person meeting to have 2 adults presence given pst history. 10 Lesson, Review, Council of Achievement. Quarterly 3 months. Aug 30 2026 2 boys. 1 Commander Davis. Opening Prayer. Pray for Children. And Nepal catastrophic flood and mudslide problem. Told the story of 2 Samuel 17. David and Goliath. I asked boys 2 question about David and Goliath namely What items did David go pick up for his family before hearing Goliath speak? How tall was Goliath? What weapon was used to knock down Goliath? Playground. Bouncy house activities. What was David job before becoming king ? What other boy were shepherd care givers in bible ? Marshmallows rocks to represent the 5 rocks. Jesus says. Played Hang Man. 1 boy received salvation Daniel. Darlene mother needs #. According to Roman 10.9. 3 Identifiers. I'm God's boy growing into God's man , I have an angel and God uses me. 3 rounds of Jesus says. Another playground bouncy house session. Talk about giving testimony. Back 2 School. Closing prayers.
