In the beginning of Revelation we are introduced to seven churches located in ancient Asia Minor (modern day Turkey).
Jesus gives John a vision of himself among seven lamp stands (the churches) and in his right hand seven stars (the angels aka messengers).
As symbolic as this book can be, discernment is need to understand that these churches represent US in one way or another.
As Jesus describes each church and their flaws, He also mentions that there is hope for all who turn from their ways and come to Him!
