What do we really believe about heaven and hell? And how does what we believe about eternity shape the way we live today?
Join us this morning as we begin our new worship series, Thin Places: Questions About Life, Death & Eternity, with “Heaven and Hell.”

🕯️ Acolyte Training is Coming Up!
Children in 2nd through 5th grade are invited to learn what it means to serve as an acolyte during worship. Acolytes have a special role in helping lead our congregation into worship by bringing the light of Christ into the sanctuary.
Training will be held Sunday, September 13 at 9:45 am. Whether your child is ready to begin serving or would simply like to learn more, we would love to have them join us!

Life gets busy. Sometimes the best thing we can do is get away from the routine, slow down, and spend intentional time with God and one another.
Join us October 16–18 for the Men’s Retreat at Prothro Center at Lake Texoma. The weekend will include Bible study and devotional time, meals together, evenings around the firepit, and plenty of free time for golf, fishing, boat rides, football—or simply relaxing by the lake.

What happens after this life? What do we believe about heaven and hell? How do we understand judgment, evil, forgiveness and eternity? And how do those beliefs shape the way we live right now?
Beginning Sunday, September 6, we invite you to join us for Thin Places, a new worship series where we’ll make room for some of the big questions of faith. Through the teachings of Jesus and the apostle Paul, we’ll explore different understandings of the Kingdom of God and seek to grow deeper in our relationship with the God who loves us.
You don’t have to have all the answers. Come with your questions. Come with your faith. Come and explore with us.

This morning, we wrap up our Blessed? worship series with “Loving Our Enemies.”
Loving our enemies is one of Jesus’ most challenging teachings. What does that really look like in our everyday lives? How do we respond with love when we’ve been hurt, angered, or deeply disagree with someone?
Today, we’ll lean into God’s grace and compassion as we wrestle with these questions and grow in faith together.

What an incredible day! Thank you to everyone who participated in, volunteered at, donated to, and supported our Rev Up for Kids event benefiting Little Milestones at Firewheel.
Because of your generosity and participation, we raised approximately $3,500 for our preschool and afterschool ministry! 🎉
From the cars to the music, food, games, dessert auction, and fellowship, this event was possible because so many people came together to support the children and families in our community.
We are so grateful for everyone who helped make Rev Up for Kids such a success. Thank you for investing in this important ministry! ❤️
