Dolly Partner Spotlight

Thank you to Kathy Myers for her generous support of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library!
As a teacher and with her husband, Chris, having served as a principal, Kathy understands the important role books play in a child's growth and learning. Their support helps provide free, high-quality books each month to Sac County children from birth to age 5.
While Dolly Parton started the program, the books received by local children are funded through the generosity of local donors. We are grateful for Dolly Partners like Kathy who help make that possible.
Thank you, Kathy, for helping inspire a love of reading in the next generation of Sac County children.

Dolly Partner Spotlight

Thank you to VT Industries for their generous donation to the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library! We are grateful to Christy Fister and Hasith Ranasinghe for presenting this gift and helping support young readers in Sac County.

Many people are surprised to learn that while Dolly Parton started the program, the books received by local children are funded through the generosity of local donors. Our church is proud to serve as the local partner, and support from businesses like VT Industries helps provide free books each month to Sac County children from birth to age 5.

Thank you, VT Industries, for helping put books into the hands of our youngest readers and encouraging a love of reading from the very beginning.

We will be celebrating Dolly Days throughout Sac County all summer. Families with children between the ages of 0 and 5 can register at the Dolly Days so their kids can receive free books every month. Families can register for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library online anytime. Local libraries are willing to help with registration as well.

Our first Dolly Days celebration was a wonderful success! Hosted by the Schaller Public Library at the park, the afternoon was filled with books, ice cream, cookies, coloring pages, balloon animals, and lots of smiles.

Thank you to Frank Strain for his generous support of the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library!
Our church is proud to serve as the local partner for this wonderful program, but its success depends on the support of many individuals throughout our community. Frank's donation is one of the many gifts helping ensure that children across Sac County, from birth to age five, can receive a high-quality book in their mailbox each month and develop a lifelong love of reading.
