Community Synagogue of Rye A caring Jewish community that adds meaning and purpose to your life. In 1948, a group of families in the Rye area created a Reform Jewish congregation. Come.

Through the generosity of some of the founding families, the old mansion on Forest Avenue was purchased. We have an ambitious religious education program for children and adults, numerous opportunities to become involved in social action, beautiful worship services, and life cycle celebrations. Our enthusiastic and active committees help make our synagogue a dynamic and caring community. Our vision is to be a center for spiritual transformation; to foster the creation of sacred relationships; and to give people the tools and resources to be God's partner in healing the world. We take inspiration from Jewish teachings and traditions in service of this vision. This vision is guided by our commitment to the Jewish values of Worship (T'filah), Life-Long Learning (Talmud Torah), Community (Kehilah), Loving Kindness (Hesed), Repairing the World (Tikkun Olam) and Love of Israel (Ahavat Yisrael). Our congregants come from a number of nearby communities, including Rye, Rye Brook, Harrison, White Plains, Mamaroneck, Armonk, and Greenwich, Connecticut. Join us.

THANK YOU! Todah Rabah! to everyone who donated to our High Holy Day Food Drive! Together with your donation of 2,398 pounds, we will be able to create roughly 1,998 more meals for our neighbors facing hunger.

We are so grateful for you and all of the congregants of CSR that come together to support our community every year. Feeding Westchester
