Our 150th season is almost upon us, and we are hiring a Music Coordinator/Organist.
It's a wonderful opportunity for a skilled, reliable musician who enjoys thoughtful liturgy and being a part of a warm summer worship community. The role is ideal for someone who would like to fill in their summer with some part-time, seasonal work as a weekly organist and coordinator for a historic seasonal chapel. A few years experience is required.

Dear St. Andrew’s Family,

There's is a scam email going around being attributed to our Vicar, David Holroyd. The subject line is personalized to your name and in the body Rev. David is writing, " I need a favor from you, email me as soon as you get this message." And if you respond, the follow up is a request to buy gift cards for cancer patients. IT IS A SCAM. It is from

[email protected] which is NOT the Vicar's address. Please do not fall for it and immediately delete it. No one at St. Andrew's-by-the-Sea would make this request. Ever.

It is our understanding that many area churches have had this happen as well. IT IS A SCAM.

Candlelight Caroling is back for one magical night on Friday, Dec. 19 at 5 pm. All are welcome to celebrate this season of joy with us. Remember to dress warm, we have no heat. Hot cider and treats will be served. Free-will donations are kindly accepted for Gather.
(Our chapel is small, and safety is our priority. Our doors will open at 4:30 pm and seating will be available only until our pews are filled, insuring a comfortable and safe experience for all.)

We want to help HAVEN NH bring increased awareness to this very special night in support of a very worth cause. As you may know, as part of their mission Haven is partnering with the Episcopal Diocese and Portsmouth Housing Authority for the conversion of Christ Church on Rte 1 in Portsmouth. The revamp to include new offices for HAVEN NH along with shelter & transitional housing, a planned child care center, and work force housing connected to Portsmouth Housing Authority. Please consider taking part in what is sure to be a delightful evening of delicious food, live auction, raffle, and an inspiring keynote speaker.

Our 4th Annual Blessing of the Animals is Saturday October 4, at 4:00 pm. (Or in my case I requested an exorcism for my Aussie puppy!) Bring any well behaved animal-and our Vicar will honor it with a special blessing. Last year he blessed a turtle! Treats all around as well.
