Did you miss our Ice Cream Social this June? There's a reason!

June was extra busy this year, so we decided to move it back a couple of months. And while we were at it, we gave our menu a delicious makeover!

Join us on Wednesday, September 16, for our Fall Church Social, featuring a hearty meal of grilled pork loin, baked potato, green beans, and homemade pies and desserts.

Come enjoy great food, fellowship, and homemade treats. We'd love to see you there!

Today was our final day of quilting for the year. The last two weeks we completed these 17 quilts to be donated to in Heavenly Peace - IA, Delaware Co. to help with their mission “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!”

We didn’t just celebrate Easter today! We welcomed four new young members and recognized their confirmation! Thankful for a church full of people to help congratulate them and guide them in their faith journey!

We are excited to begin quilting again this week January 8! You’ll find us in the church basement every Thursday morning through March (weather permitting) from about 9:00–12:00. This week we will start at about 9:30.
Everyone is welcome to join us—much of what we do on Thursday mornings involves tying knots and pinning seams, and no experience is needed. You don’t have to bring anything with you, and you’re always welcome to stop by just to chat.
If you’re interested in piecing together quilt tops from home, please let us know. We gladly accept donations of fabric for the quilt tops and flat sheets (twin size or larger) that we can use for quilt backs.
The quilts we make are donated through Lutheran World Relief, as well as the local Delaware County chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

We are especially grateful for this recent generous donation from Ana Blickenderfer from Charles City! We encourage you to check out her website and barn if you are in the area! We are eager to create some beautiful designs with this gorgeous fabric!
