Please also consider supporting Teddy and Lincoln's Mitzvah Project.
Lincoln is collecting used books in good condition to donate to the Friends of Library for their monthly book sale, whose proceeds support the Rutland Free Library. Lincoln loves to read, and chose his project to help support continued opportunities for the community to engage with the library. For those attending the B'Nai Mitzvah, books can be brought to the service. He is also completing community service hours at the library, primarily helping with youth programming activities/organization.
Teddy is holding a can drive to benefit the Camp Takodah scholarship fund. The boys have been attending Camp Takodah for several years, and Teddy is raising funds to help pay for campers who may have financial barriers to attend camp. He has partnered with Olivia's; please consider donating returnable cans/bottles at Olivia's and ask for the donation to go to 'Teddy Copans/Camp Takodah.' Alternatively, please contact Lesley at [email protected] if you would like Teddy to pick up your returnables from your home. We also invite people to donate directly to Camp Takodah if they are so inclined by visiting their website: https://www.camptakodah.org/donate/donate-now/. Teddy completed community service hours at Camp Takodah with spring clean-up work.
