What happens when Jesus comes home? At first everyone is impressed. They know him. They know his family. They know where he's from.
And then Jesus says something that changes the room -- because Jesus has a habit of loving people our hometowns have taught us to overlook.
The people outside the bubble. The people we've written off. The people we've condemned. The people we are absolutely sure don't belong.
And sometimes the hardest place to follow Jesus isn't somewhere far away. It's home.
This week at Neighborhood Church, we're talking about what happens when Jesus refused to stay inside our hometown boundaries -- and why following him might mean learning to see our neighbors differently.
