- Relationships are the Key:

YoungAdult Community Bible Study is for the community—everyone: Those with extensive knowledge of the Bible and those who have never opened it. Growing in community takes time and willingness to be open with one another. The Bible contains insight about life and relationsh

ips that is priceless.

- Change:

Especially when it results in caring about others including the poor, the defenseless, and those treated unjustly. Change that brings more appreciation of life, the environment, and genuine personal relationships.

-Why we do it--

The Bible talks about change in all these dimensions— insight that is as cutting edge today as when it was written. Talking Together we understand the Bible better and find answers for everyday life. More clarity and balance than we would ever find alone.

-What it looks like—

Our approach to studying scripture:
- Personal investigation and reflection during the week
- Share and explore in an open-ended small group format
- Summary of the week’s study by a teacher
- Reading Bible scholar comments including historical and cultural data
- Everyone’s perspective and comments help us learn and grow in our spiritual journeys.

Getting one's heart back is one of the biggest, best things we can do for our time we have here on the earth.

Leah Brisendine, a dear cousin, has chosen to place herself in a space where this mission of 'getting one's own heart back' regularly happens.

She's purposely sacrificing time and resources to pursue the things that bring more life, more restoration and more clarity for her journey with God.

We invite you to join us in supporting Leah's mission to dial deeper into what God meant when He meant her.

One more thing...
When we get behind the mission for others, we often find more of that very thing, for us. There is such a thing as divine Reciprocity, although it is far beyond our feeble understanding.

Still, when we bless others, (as they seek to grow deeper in the goodness of God), we place ourselves in a space where that cycle of blessing is able to rest upon us, as well.
